Pseudonyms



  • Pseudonym - is a made-up name used by a person to conceal his/her identity. Most commonly associated with writers and are referred to as "pen names."
Authors we have discussed who use pseudonyms:

  • Author of Charlotte's Web and Stuart Little, E.B. White's real name is Elwyn Brooks. 
  • Emily Rodda's real name is Jennifer Rowe. She writes adult books under her real name and children's' books under Emily Rodda and Mary-Ann Dickinson. Emily Rodda is well known for the children's fantasy series Deltora QuestRowan of RinFairy RealmTeen Power Inc., the Rondo trilogy, and, more recently, The Three Doors trilogy. She also wrote Finders Keepers
